I am sorry for this appearing like a stupid question but...for the longest of time I have never had to use an antivirus on my older macs. With this new (to me) macbookpro 2 I find I may be infected.....ftp problems indicated with Transmit that the file kept disappearing due to malware of that file....sooooo

The question, I can hear you all saing to get on with it...LOL

When it says "Scan this Mac" does it mean the main hard drive only or does it mean the entire mac----hard drive and external drive

IF not how to tell it to scan the external too?
