Issue Detected in Chrome Cache: How to keep removed?

When I run Sophos, it comes up with an issue of:

2014-03-31 17:04:54 -0500 Corrupt file: /Users/devorahhershkovich/Library/Caches/Google/Chrome/Default/Cache/f_00000f

It duplicates itself as well if I delete the file. For example: f_000048

I delete the file but it keeps on coming back.  I'm wondeirng if there is any way I can move it to Quarentine or make it removed completely?

Thanks!

  • Have you tried clearing Chrome's cache entirely?  That should get rid of most of the files.  If it comes back it's probably something new and the structure of the file is causing the scanner a problem.
