Issues Detected Not Showing up in Quarantine Manager

I am the worlds worst Mac Owner. It should be taken away from me...

I have scanned my Mac (Running Mac OS X Maverics) with the latest version of sophos home edition for the first time in 4 years. With the amount that I use the computer there are almost certainly viruses on it. When the scan completes nothing shows up in the quarentine manager, despite the scan pausing numerous times with "issues detected". Therefore I never have a chance to "Clean up Threat". 

-I have updated sophos and played with the settings. But I can't seem to figure it out.
