Hey Guys,
My sophos has been acting very weird the past few months, and has been nothing but a HUGE issue.
My antivirus will randomly quit while in a scan. For example, if I run a local scan suddenly the sophos app will quit and the scan will halt. I dont get any errors or messages at all. I have also tried scanning my time machine backup and the same issue.
So far I have only managed to do ONE complete scan.
I am using a macbook pro, i5, 4gb ram on mountain lion.
P.S: On a sidenote I've noticed alot of files getting past sophos, ex: I have a bunch of sample virus infected files I use for work, and when I scan them through sophos they are undedcted, but Kaspersky pick them up with ease. Even the trojans get past and the yontoo malware.
I know Sophos is one of the industry leading secuirity companies, so I thought I would post here to see if theres a solution for this, before going elsewhere. Avast.
