Auto Update does not work

Hello,

I am using free mac version 8.0.8.1C on mountain lion. The autoupdate settings are greyed out, but a password is filled in. When I start an update, the download begins, but it ends after a time. The following log entry is made:

com.sophos.autoupdate: Error: Could not contact primary server at 16:33 on 29 November 2012
com.sophos.autoupdate: URL is invalid

Can anyone help me?

Hello,
the system tries to download more then 100MB!? It seems as if it tries to update the whole software. But I have downloaded the software today.
