scanning

The  Scan Local Drives bar reaches a certain point and stops scannimg.  The scanning process does not continue.

    When you say "stops scanning" do you mean the entire scan stops and the progress bar goes away?  If so, check the thread talking about external storage and network storage; it's possible you've hit this issue.  If not, it's possible that a large archive is being scanned.
