Whys does my scan stop?

Stopped at 219,274 items remaining,

Unistalled, reinstalled....cant get complete scan!

    By "stopped" do you mean completed, or stalled?  If stalled, that's just what happens when it is scanning inside an archive.  If it actually suddenly completes, could you post what the scan log says at the very end?
