Sophos 8.06 seems to crash OS Mountain Lion and has 2 icons

Hi, I don't know if anyone else is having issues, but since Sophos upgraded there are 2 identical icons showing.  Then when I upgraded to Mountain Lion, now my MacBook Air is crashing daily and it shows Sophos as the leading problem.  Any ideas?

    Please search the extensive threads on these forums for those two issues.

    Short answers (read the other threads if this doesn't work):

    1) remove Sophos from your user's login items using the "-" button.

    2) Try excluding your Time Machine volume from On-Access scans.
