Does Sophos violate privacy?

1. I know that Sophos antivirus scans the Internet for viruses/malware as you browse the web. Does Sophos antivirus track and/or record your web browsing? Does SAV share or disclose your web browsing history?
2. SAV also updates regularly. Does SAV record/track/disclose your IP address?
3. I know that SAV scans the files on your computer for viruses/malware. Does SAV log the contents of your computer files? Does SAV upload or share your computer files (or the contents of such files) to the Internet or the Sophos company? Or do the files stay on your computer?

SAV sends small bits of data to either SophosLabs for threat analysis or for analysis of what Mac OS X version, SAV version/features are being used. We don't know who is sending the data so in that sense there is no tracking.
