I've spent about an hour trying to figure out what I thought was simple. I would like to see the threat in quarantine manager when I get a pop up that a threat has been found. I was running "Clean up threat" for a long time and would see a pop up but the manager would be empty, hence it was cleaned up. Is "Deny access" the default setting so when the popup shows up we see the threat in the manager, then decide to clean it up? I like this setting so I can go back and double check based on where the threat was found ie backup, archives, etc.

And why would one choose "Clean up" or the other settings if indeed this is the default setting?
I'm running 10.7 and 10.6.8 on two macs by the way; haven't upgraded to 10.9.x due to some old software.
