Threat: 'Troj/Fujif-Gen' detected -- no path provided

Hi,

Since yesterday afternoon, Sophos has been telling me that I have a Troj/Fujif-Gen threat. When I go into the Quarantine Manager and authorize it, no path to the virus is given. I ask it to clean up the threat and Sophos either stalls out are reports an error occur.

In the log all it shows is

com.sophos.intercheck: 2011-07-22 15:50:39 -0500 Threat: 'Troj/Fujif-Gen' detected in

and there is nothing following in.

I am running Lion if that makes a difference.

How should I proceed?

Thanks,

Sheri

  • Troj/Fujif-Gen detects a malicious iframe in web pages that's used for drive-by malware installs on Windows.  This means that the threat is likely being detected in your browser cache; dumping your cache should fix the problem, but the threat should be a non-issue (until they add in mac-specific payloads).

  • Thanks for the suggestion. Dumping the cache and running Onyx didn't help. For now, I'll keep ignoring it, but if there is anything else I can try, let me know.
