I've been trying for days to remove Sophos Antivirus for Mac Home Edition (Version 9.1.3) but don't seem to have the necessary application. I've used Finder to look in my Applications folder for Remove Sophos Anti-Virus, and while Sophos is in the App folder, Remove Sophos is not. When I search my computer (either in Finder or Spotlight) for Remove Sophos, there is no such file. I'm running OS 10.9.2, by the way.
I see there are instructions for using Terminal to remove Sophos, but I have no experience in doing that so am hesitant to try. Also, I open the Sophos preferences every day and turn off the scanner and every other feature and then lock it, but the **bleep** thing manages to turn itself back on after a couple of hours. Please help if you can--this thing has taken over my computer!
