Running Sophos On My Mac Book Pro

Hello

I have created another drive image on my mac to run Windows 7 pro. I have Sophos running on the Mac side but would like to run it on the Windows side as well.

However when I try to install  Sophos on Windows it asks for license credentials.

How do I satisfy this requirement.

    Unlike the free Mac antivirus program, Sophos don't provide a free Windows antivirus solution.  They do have the free Windows-only Sophos Virus Removal Tool but it is a download-scan-cleanup-uninstall tool as it doesn't update (it's as up to date as it can be when you download it) and doesn't have a real time scanner.  It just allows a scan that has to be started manually - it doesn't intercept all file read/open calls (if that's not a too technical way of putting it).

    You can take out a trial for 30 days of the EndUser protection product (you'll only want the standalone Endpoint Security and Control product) and get about a month of updates before you decide what to do next.

    If you like it buy it.  What is the cost of losing all of your files if malware ruins your computer?  Plus you get full 24/7/365 technical support.  Call them on Christmas morning for the fun of it! :smileyvery-happy:
