Intercheck maxing out my CPU's.

It's triggered when using Chrome and visiting this page   http://www.gmb.org.uk/pdf/SX%20Gullible%20and%20Guilty%20v7b.pdf

Chrome says 'waiting for cache' and Intercheck goes into overdrive.  Force Quit of Chrome.  Intercheck still maxed out. Force quite of Intercheck and up it pops again like a bad penny.  Try to retstart the iMac and you can't...spinning wheel.  Only way is to pull out the mains plug.

Safari accesses the website OK.

    Firefox also accesses the PDF OK; I'm checking now to see if I can duplicate the issue in Chrome.

    This is indeed pegging intercheck on my test machine as well; I'll escalate the issue.

    It appears to be the way the PDF viewer in Chrome caches files that is causing the issue.
