Sophos Agent Crashed

After update, I tried to do a scan of local drives, but the scan never happened, log indicated that Sophos Agent crashed. I uninstalled Sophos an reinstalled, and tried the scan again. Same problem. I am still using OSX 10.4.11, it worked fine when I first installed it, but no longer..Help
