I also use Lion. Not being able to even use Sophos is a problem. I am getting an error with all three programs: autoupdate, intercheck, and notification. If you have any beta testing you would like done, I could help.

We released 7.3.0 yesterday (June 1st) that makes the situation better, particularly some issues related to using TextEdit, where that app can appear to hang when opening or saving files.

I am using 7.3.1 on Lion GM. Everytime after start-up Sophos is inactive (grey menu-bar icon): on-acces scanning is off. Strange thing is: in the Preferences for

Sophos I can only click on turun an-acces OFF, but it IS off (red light)! I have to turn it off, then on again.

So for some reason on-acces scanning does not get turned on when starting Lion GM...

Solved after uninstall and reinstaal of Sophos!
