I downloaded the anti-virus for Mac and the following day I needed to add a new piece of hardware. The installation required turning off anti-vius software. How do I turn it off?

    If you turn off the 'an access' scanning, that effectively turns off the AV (autoupdate will still be running, but that shoildn't interfere with anything). However, I would be surprised if you really need to do this to install your hardware.
