Reinstall and/or Uninstall

Hello, 

I have version 8 and I'm looking to cleanly uninstall it.  Unfortunately, it seems like I have gotten in trouble based on Google articles I found.  Long and short of where I'm at... The Application does not appear in Applications, however, "presence" of the application shows itself through the SophosUIServer and SophosAntivirus services are running and if I try to install it tells me the program is already installed.  I did, make the mistake, of removing package contents... Any tips on how to uninstall -- so I can reinstall would be very much appreciated.

    Best thing to do here would be to download the installer for the version currently installed and re-install it so that the uninstaller is replaced.  Then use the uninstaller to fully remove the product in the best way.

    Both version 8 and 9 installers are available here.
