Switching to Mountain Lion

I just switched from Snow Leopard to ML and do not see the Sophos icon in the top bar.

When I open Sophos from Launchpad it shows up in my dock. However when I click on Show Status in Menu Bar I get no Sophos icon showing up. The Update Now option is greyed out.

How can I get Sophos AV going?
