The antivirus software 'hangs' on specific dmg files notably Apache_OpenOffice_4.0.0_MacOS_x86_install_en-US.dmg, pdf-converter-mac_full756.dmg, Firefox 29.0.1 .dmg along with a dmg file for some no-longer used and trashed accounting software MoneyWorks.dmg.
Help please in this ... the issue is becoming frustrating
