mounting failed

I've got an old G5 with tiger on it.  Went to install savosx_80_he.dmg but was not able to due to a mounting failure.  thoughts?

    If you're running 10.4 PPC, I'd recommend you install savosx_73_he.dmg instead, and wait for it to automatically update to 8 before following the update path.

    The url to the 7.3 image is peppered throughout these forums -- but it's exactly the same as the 8.0 one, just with the two numbers changed.
