If you are facing kernel panic mac error then there is no need to panic. Even I have also come to this situation and faced lot of problem due to it. First try to handle the situation with manual steps , but it is too slow process. But with the help of data recovery mac it has become easy.

This post and the site it links to is a poorly designed ad for data recovery software; I've notified the moderators.  It appears that this username was registered purely to post affiliate spam.  I will be running an analysis of the software to see if it is malicious, or just after affiliate clickthroughs.

[edit] -- I've analysed the software, and the affiliate reseller appears to be a spammer hosting out of Mexico, while the actual software is not malicious and is at least partially functional and comes from an established Indian company.  It does appear to search the physical media and identify files in a manner similar to Sophos' True File Type technology.  However, all the reviews I've found that aren't placed advertisements are extremely negative regarding customer service and functionality.

This post can be removed by moderators when the spammer's account and posts are removed.

In the meantime, kernel panics should never require this type of data recovery software: either your drive has issues and you need to restore to good hardware from your Time Machine backup, or it is something else causing the kernel panic that has nothing to do with data corruption (such as what is being experienced on this thread).
