Enhancement request

In my Quarantine manager there are threats which have to cleaned up manually. They are all files tha were in Mail's trash and junk folders which have been copied by Time Machine before they had been automatically deleted by Mail.

Would it be possible to provide a clickable link in the Quarantine Manager that takes you directly to the infected file. Otherwise the only other easy way to navigate to the individual files is to open up the System log and cut and paste the file's location from there into the Finder's Go option.

Or have I missed something?

Thanks

  • "Manual cleanup" is holdover language from the enterprise product -- it actually means that you have to create a custom scan on the local hardware in order to clean up the threat.  However, in the case of Time Machine, removing the files via the Time Machine interface is actually preferable.  Sounds like a good feature to me, and has my vote!
