MacHome AV for iPad

I cannot find any mention that the free Sophus Mac Home AV is required for iPad, does this AV apply across the whole Mac range including iPad?

    One thing to note is that if you've got a Mac and are using iTunes to sync your data to your iPad, SAV for Mac will scan the data you sync, and so detect malicious software that you have/are going to install on your iOS devices.  It will not scan inside your encrypted backups, however.
