W32/Naotrabal-A on a Mac

Hello, I just ran Sophos on my Mac and it indicated that it had W32/Naotrabal-A as a worm on my computer and that it needs to be removed manually. Googling the worm indicates that it only occurs in Windows. Any suggestions?

  • It won't harm your Mac; the best solution is probably to attempt a manual cleanup as described in the cleanup instructions, and if that fails, temporarily disable on-access scanning and just trash the file indicated in the details section of the quarantine manager -- since it's a Windows worm, it's unlikely the file it is in is of any use to you.
