Scan cannot be completed

I've tried to scan my local files for two days now after a Troj/Zbot-JAE popped up on my Quarantine Manager.  Not only do I get errors that it cannot clean up the threat, it doesn't give a location of the file infected.  I know that normally means it's on the Time Machine.  I disconnected the time machine (as it's an external drive) and ran the scan again.  Now it tells me it cannot complete the scan.  Very frustrating!!!  Any suggestions?

  • Are there any other drives that are plugged in?

I generally find that clearing the item from the Quarantine Manager, then setting up a custom scan and limiting the scan to the main drive resolves these problems.
