Console error message: sxl3_service_make_request(): All requests are in use

No one has yet replied to my earlier message, but maybe someone can tell me what it means when my Console is filled with messages like:

SophosSXLD[67]: 20140603 173858.710 P 67 T 217310 ------ 3 - sxl3_service_make_request(): All requests are in use

as of the past 2 weeks when I try that the threats show as "Cleanup in Progress" for hours without finishing. Most of the time I can clean up one virus at a time, but not always. After a while I kill the app and restart it.
