Help with sophos removal

I am beyond frustrated right now,

trying to remove Sophos version 8 home version (free) and I cannot. There is no removal app! Tried callign customer service, they said the only help I can get for removal is on this forum.

Please help

followed the insturctions at this link
had to download the SophosRemoveVersion8only.tgz

and it worked perfectly.

Which side of frustrated are you on now? :smileywink:

Not sure how the uninstaller disappeared - it doesn't delete itself automatically unless you run it, and that's at the very end of the uninstall.

Are you planning on downloading and installing version 9 or not reinstalling?
