Dear People,
I heard that sophos was a great scanner for mac, therefore i installed it (on my retina macbook pro early 2013, OS X Mavericks).
After one complete system scan i was satisfied. Before installing Sophos the grey spinning wheel at startup spinned around 1 / 2 seconds or not at all.
After the installation much longer.
My problem is as following: after uninstalling Sophos (using the unistall app that comes with version 9) the boot with the spinning wheels still takes long.
I want to restore my boot time to the ''original''!
Any ideas on how to speed it up again? Are there some startup things or components that the uninstaller doesn't remove???
