I recently downloaded the free Sophos anti-virus program from Spphos. As soon as I had done so, I got a message, identified as being from Sophos, seeking to scan all my files.
Is that legitimate? Or is it someone trying to hack me?
What is the purspose of the scan?
If it is legitimate, how do I get back on track to allow the scan?
