can't get rid of sophos

Someone PLEASE help me unistall this product! I have been trying to remove sophos from my MAC for 2 years...it never goes away...i tried the uninstaller before and nothing....now everytime I start my computer the sophos UIserver is open...I am no longer able to share photos to facebook ever since this happened...it won't let me force quit it either... i just removed the application tonight by throwing it in the trash including the unistaller...now i read that was not smart becuase fragments of the program still remain....how do i get rid of every trace of this program? I don't even know which version I have, I downloaded it 3 years ago and I'm running MAC OS X version 10.7.5...HELP

    This forum and board is for the Home Edition (free version)...

    ...and it doesn't have a version 9.2.0 (not as of writing - it will do eventually).  And it will not have a Tamper Protection password because it's not designed to be that complex for home users.

    I think you must have received the Sophos Cloud installer.  Hence I'd suggest contacting the person that administors the Mac - they will know the Tamper Protection password or know where to find it.
