Postback blocked

Using Sophos for Mac Anti-virus 9.0.3

Need help here - I have a very simple ASPX page which loads with no problem, but Sophos is blocking a postback call to the same page. What is going on? I can only get around by switching off website scanning, which negates the whole point of having Sophos. LIsting the site as allowed makes no difference to the problem.

    When you say Sophos is blocking it, does Sophos say anything/log anything/etc?

    Is there another URL or IP address that needs allowing as well (maybe the URL is changed slightly)?

    FYI:  Even with web protection off you still benefit from real time scanning, on demand scans and live protection.  Hence disabling this one feature (new in version 9) doesn't negate Sophos being installed.  There doesn't seem to be a free AV for mac that has this feature  (av-comparatives.org mac_review_2013_en.pdf) so you may want to regard it as a plus feature that can't be enable just yet because of this problem.  However you're still getting a lot of features even without the web protection.
