autoupdate credentials for Mac Home Edition 9.0

Question

hello. i used to run SAV Mac Home Edition 8.0, and it came with auto-update credentials already entered into the username and password fields in the preferences, while version 9.0 is unhappy because "autoupdate is not configured," as there are no credentials in the autoupdate pane of the preferences, and all the help i can find on the subject tells me simply to enter "the updating credentials that were given to [me] by Sophos."

i wrote to the support department to request said credentials, and was told they don't support this software, and that i needed to come here to find my answers.

so can somebody give me the Mysterious Missing Credentials?

thanks for your response, Bob. i've just removed SAV via the uninstaller, restarted my machine, and reinstalled the software, and now the credentials are present in the autoupdate pane and all is well and appears to be working as it should. this case may now be safely closed. thank you very much.
