Running scan but not completing

Hi,

I'm running a full scan on my internal MacBook hard drive but the scan doesn't complete, I can't see any errors, and when I check the console it says the scan has never run.


Any ideas?

On 10.8, Sophos version 8.0.14C

    I wish I had a solution..unfortunately, I can only report the same issue. The Scanning Local Drives engine appears to be working (currently it has over 6million items to check)...it gets to a point where it just shuts down and reports that no scan has taken place. I think this point might be when the iMac sleeps.

    This is my first scan after installing the software and updating it immediately afterwards. I tried leaving it overnight to do its scan, but came back to find it hadn't completed the job. This is slightly annoying as I had previously removed a competitor's antivirus programme as I had understodd that the Sophos version was a lot better...obviously not so far!

    It is running on an iMac 24inch mid 2007, running 10.8.3
