Computer won't go to sleep

I have recently installed Sophos and ever since my computer will not go to sleep as per the Control Panel settings. I made sure that updates occur less frequently so that the there is time for inactivity and the computer to go sleep before the next update makes the copmuter active again. I am running Windows Vista.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    this forum is not for the Windows version - the Windows version is licensed and furthermore only available for businesses, not home users. Per the licensing terms support is through your site (employer, university). I'm also not aware that AutoUpdate causes the computer to wake from sleep.
