Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac V7.3.1 is compatible with Mac OS X Lion

Apple just launched their latest operating system OS X 10.7 (Lion) today and we wanted to let you know that your version of Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac already supports it.


In anticipation of the Lion launch, we released an update at the end of June that automatically upgraded SAV for Mac to v7.3.1. This version is compatible with OS X Lion so whenever you upgrade to Lion, you’’’’ll be fully protected.

    When you say "scan stopping," do you mean that you get an alert saying that the scan has stopped unexpectedly, or do you just mean that you see no progress in the scanning progress bar?

    And when you say "close and reinitialize" are you talking about manually stopping the scan and restarting it, quitting Sophos Anti-Virus and then re-launching and starting a manual scan, or turning on-access scanning off and back on?
