Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac V7.3.1 is compatible with Mac OS X Lion

Apple just launched their latest operating system OS X 10.7 (Lion) today and we wanted to let you know that your version of Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac already supports it.


In anticipation of the Lion launch, we released an update at the end of June that automatically upgraded SAV for Mac to v7.3.1. This version is compatible with OS X Lion so whenever you upgrade to Lion, you’’’’ll be fully protected.

    I'm not trying to jump on the Sophos/Lion hate bandwagon or anything, but I've noticed that Intercheck is using almost twice as much virtual memory as before.  Is this normal?

    Before upgrading, iStat would display the MEM gage as appearing almost empty.  Now, even after a reboot with nothing new (other than the OS) installed, my gage has instantly shot up to approximately half, and my computer runs a bit more sluggish.

    I'll try doing a reinstall of SAV, maybe that'll do the trick?
