Troj/ZAccess-CH

I received a threat notice for Troj/ZAccess-CH.  Automatic clean up of threat fails every time.  The path is listed as a download in my TRASH but the trash is empty.  I can't access Manual cleanup because I can't find the listed file anywhere.  What to do?

  • It'll be in your deleted mail items most likely, not your system trash can.  After emptying your mail trash, check and see if it's still in the QM.  If it is, clear it from the log and see if it comes back.

    This is a Windows-only threat, so you don't have to be overly concerned if it's sitting on your system unblocked for a while.
