I'm trying to reinstall because when I run the installed Virus Removal Tool it always it is unable to update, whatever that implys..
Full text of message from reinstall is: "Error 1606, Could not access network location data." I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x86.
I first tried disabling my firewalls; got same error. The log file showed that the install was pointing a bunch of 64 bit named values to other partitions on my drive that had 64 bit OSs.Thinking that might be the problem (even though this is an x86 OS), I unmounted them. Tried again and the install pointed the same 64 bit named values to a FAT32 partition on the drive! I have to admire its' dedication to doing something silly. I've attached a copy of the last log file created.
