Sophus Anti-Virus for Mac (version 8.0.14C) has suddenly stopped working. The On-access Scanning tab under Preferences shows a red light (on-access scanning is off) but the adjacent button (which reads Stop Scanning) is not highlighted (even when the lock is unlocked) - so there seems to be no way to turn it back on.
Restore Defaults generates an error message - On-access Scanner failed to set preference.
Can anyone help please?
