Dual Shields - Latest Mac Update

OK so I am having the opposite issue to everyone else, possibly due to a newer update since the last thread.

I seem to have two Sophos shields in the menu bar, has this been experienced/reported.

I have uninstalled - reinstalled following these instructions

    Go into System preferences - Users & Groups - Login items, and delete the Sophos entry. All then returns to normal

    Hi,

    I removed the login item as directed, but still two shields in the menu bar. Turning off "Show Status in Menu Bar" continues to on/off TWO shields each time. Is a restart required to effect the change?

    Yes, if you have removed a login item, you need to at least log out and log back in (full restart not needed).
