I have updated to the new version of sospos (superman s sign) by the one before through update.
But have the following concerns.
1.on update, to new version, around 229 files loaded. Then did scan. But not the orginial scan box, with no apple computer on the left.
Then sosphos reached a file called index.xapxl.gz (compressed file?). Then a pop-up box came up....
said " fatal error"..... but still continued to scan.
stopped this...
2.Did update again. This time the correct scan box. On switching on the mac, but not connected to www. The same fatal error keeps coming up when getting to index.xapxl.gz.... could that be due to being compressed or one part of file has been deleted.
3.No fatal error if connected to the internet first.... on-access is correct on green, only when on web. But not before hand when not connected
ie grey on no www connection.
4.on menu....from top bar icon shield... up to date is always grey.
5. can keep updating... when you want to manually update.
6.on some updates...on the scan....blue and white.... scanning this gets stuck and does nt go blue. So have to shut down....then restart. Or goes
to fast on file checking.
7.Blue bar on scanning does nt start at the very begining.....say 1 cm to left. all the time ...but starts scanning same file numbers even with that jump in bar starting.
8.small shield is black , only on www connection, then after.
9.down arrow in shield working on auto update.
10. on scanning some files come up such as: index.xapxl.gz, index-iso.gz, index-trad.xml.gz,
safari.archive.tar.gz, Qzjava.zip, archive.px.gz
11.The scan box is always at the bottom of the screen, even after moving....the old version scan box was in the middle.
12. would reinstalling the operation system help? If a required file has been deleted??
