scan freezes up

Hello,

I just downloaded sophos for mac and when I try to run the scan it freezes up right somewhere in the 599k range, I have 605k files on my comp

is this because I have a windows partion on my computer so because it's not made for scanning windows so it freezes up?

please help

Having similar problems with the scan stopping with some 2million+ items still to scan (has been showing the same point for approx 18 hours now).
Any idea what is going on?
