new install

I have just down loaded the sophos anti virus from the web for the first time, i have an icon on the desk top 10.4 when i click on it to open the anti virus it just brings up the install box again? Can anyone help please

    Do you have the black shield in your menu bar and the blue shield in your dock?  Is there a Sophos Anti-Virus application in your Applications folder?

    Re-running the installer will re-attempt to install the software.
