Trying to download free home edition

Hello,

Recently my sophos software has expired. I got a pop up stating that I could download a free updated version. I downloaded the free edition, however it keeps saying I need to delete my old sophios. It has been removed however it still won't download the new version. Any help?:smileysad:

    If you were running SAV 4 Enterprise, you need to download the upgrade to SAV 7 enterprise.  SAV Home Edition is not the same product, as it has no support attached to it, and is aimed at home users, not business/educational users.

    Ironically, to install SAV 7 HE after having installed SAV 4, the easiest method is to  first upgrade to SAV 7 Enterprise and then run the uninstaller.  Otherwise you will have to contact support to help you through the SAV 4 uninstall process (or search these forums, as all combinations of install/remove/upgrade are discussed in other threads on here).

    Please go to https://secure.sophos.com/support/updates/sbs/security-suite.html and log in to upgrade SAV 4 to SAV 7.  Or, if you have SAV through work or school, please contact your IT servicedesk, as they should be able to push the upgrade to you.
