Icon is blue instead of Black

Just downloaded Sophus and scanned my computer and got a successful note on installation

and that the scan found no infected files. Info says I can tell it is working by the black icon. My

icon is blue. Is that a problem?

Hello Dan,

you are correct. The black icon should be on the right side of the top bar. It should be displayed when Show Status in Menu Bar is checked in the Sophos Anti-Virus menu. This setting is also found in Preferences/Messaging or ctrl-click from the dock icon.

If you search this forum for icon menu bar you'll find a number of related threads. See for example Sophos AV for Mac doesn't show icon in my tool bar.
