If I already have Sophos?

Sorry for an ignorant question. I have been using Sophos for Mac for some years, courtesy of a couple of employers. Currently I have version 7.2.2 .  For me, the attraction of this free version is that it is not anchored to the employer (e.g. requiring their server log-ins for updates). If I install this to replace the existing version, what do I lose?

    Hello JohnW,

    Functionally, you will not lose anything by switching to the Free Mac Anti-Virus.  The applications are essentially identical.

    Hi JohnW,

    The previous post is correct with regards to the functionality of the free application, but please be aware of the licensing conditions, which are posted here. Depending on the conditions under which you already have Sophos protection, it may be a more complicated issue than a simple replacement.
