Based on a recent recommendation from Kim Komando, I installed the Sophos Virus Removal Tool and started the scan. However, after over 4 hours, the scan was not even 2% complete (based on what I believe is the progress bar). Thinking something was stuck in a loop, I stopped the scan, uninstalled the tool, then reinstalled it and began another scan. It has been over an hour and it shows less than 2% complete.
How long does this thing take??? So far, it shows no problems and it appears to be running, but is this scan going to take all week? Any feedback is appreciated!!
