cannot install the Sophos Antivirus home edition in Mac Pro 2008

Hello,

I just downloaded the Sophos Antivirus home edition.

everytime I start the installer and install the AV;

Sophos gives an error (The installer cannot connect to Sophos, although your Mac appears to be connected to the internet. please check your network settings and click Continue again. For more information, please visit the support forum.) in the update section.

I am pretty sure the internet connection is fine.

What is wrong of it?

    No such luck. iCloud sync hasn't been activated. I have no need for any sync apps, so none are installed or in use. Though thanks for the tip. Hope others are helped by that.

    Now, if Sophos would only fix this issue instad of so many of us  searching for workarounds and hacks.
