cannot install the Sophos Antivirus home edition in Mac Pro 2008

Hello,

I just downloaded the Sophos Antivirus home edition.

everytime I start the installer and install the AV;

Sophos gives an error (The installer cannot connect to Sophos, although your Mac appears to be connected to the internet. please check your network settings and click Continue again. For more information, please visit the support forum.) in the update section.

I am pretty sure the internet connection is fine.

What is wrong of it?

    Had the same message. Shut downn SugarSync, which was running in the background, and the problem went away. SugarSync is like Dropbox, it runs in the background to sync data over the internet. I imagine other such programs could cause the same problem, so shut them down and try installing again.
